A Sparkling New Chapter: James Fine Jewelry Opens Its Doors in Salisbury

The Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce (SACC) proudly co-hosted on December 17 an official ribbon cutting ceremony to congratulate Steven and Jessica James, owners of James Fine Jewelry, on the opening of their new retail store in Salisbury, Maryland.

James Fine Jewelry, located at 1307 Mount Hermon Road, celebrated its grand opening earlier this fall on September 16, 2025. The husband-and-wife team is carrying forward the legacy of Steve’s great Aunt Shirley and uncle Louis O’Neal, longtime owners of O’Neal’s Antiques. Recognizing the need for a dedicated retail space, Steven and Jessica seized the opportunity to purchase the former GB Heron’s location as soon as it became available.

“We are honored to continue the legacy of O’Neill’s Antiques out of Laurel, where jewelry has been sold for over three decades, and of GB Heron, who also served this community for more than thirty years with exceptional custom work. We strive to ensure that when you purchase a piece here, you won’t find another just like it sitting in the case a few weeks later. Each item is chosen with care to be distinctive.” said Steven.

The new showroom offers a revitalized and contemporary space for customers, while maintaining the tradition of excellence in jewelry craftsmanship. James Fine Jewelry is a full-service jeweler, providing repairs, custom designs, and in-house expertise. Joining the team are Eric Miller, a goldsmith with over two decades of experience at GB Heron, and Angie Davis, who worked with GB Heron for many years and has chosen to continue sharing her expertise with the community.
