Salisbury, MD — SVN | Miller Commercial Real Estate is proud to announce that Advisors, Chris Messick and Dylan Mezick, have been appointed to the Executive Team for United Way’s Emerging Leaders Young Professionals Group. Chris and Dylan were appointed as Chair and Vice Chair, respectively.
Chris Messick assumes the role of Chair after completing a successful two-year term as Vice Chair (2024-2025). During his tenure, Messick played a key role in supporting initiatives focused on youth development and community engagement throughout the Lower Eastern Shore.
Dylan Mezick, newly appointed Vice Chair, has already made a significant impact through his involvement with the organization’s Community Impact Committee. He is also recognized for his dedication to service, including his participation as one of the “Edgers”, where he rappelled down the Ross Building during last year’s Over the Edge for ALICE fundraising event.
The mission of the Emerging Leaders of the Lower Eastern Shore is to promote and encourage philanthropy and volunteerism among young professionals in Wicomico, Worcester, Somerset, and Dorchester Counties, with a strong emphasis on supporting children and youth. The organization is dedicated to creating positive, long-lasting change by investing in the region’s youngest residents.
Through professional development, educational opportunities, volunteerism, and networking events, Emerging Leaders work to strengthen families and communities by advancing education, housing, employment, and health across the Eastern Shore.
