SACC’s February Business After Hours was hosted on Thursday, February 10th at the new Salisbury offices of Anthenelli, Phoebus & Hickman, LLC.
In 2014, solo practitioners James V. Anthenelli and John K. Phoebus joined former State’s Attorney Kristy M. Hickman to create Anthenelli, Phoebus & Hickman, LLC. James V. Anthenelli was a former assistant state’s attorney with more than 38 years of experience, focusing on the area of criminal defense.
John K. Phoebus has been in private practice for more than 20 years and has focused on litigation, including high-profile criminal defense cases and civil litigation. Joining the merger of these two firms is former State’s Attorney Kristy M. Hickman who brings with her the experience of having won all 16 murder trials she prosecuted during her time as State’s Attorney for Somerset County.
With decades of combined experience, thousands of clients represented and a proven track record of success, Anthenelli, Phoebus & Hickman, LLC, is a boutique litigation firm that limits its practice to criminal defense, family law, and personal injury cases. Fully equipped and qualified to handle a wide variety of legal matters, including criminal defense, DUI, family law, or personal injury.
Hosts, attorneys John Phoebus and Kristy Hickman, welcomed a well-attended group of 50 guests and gifted us a beautiful display of food from Together Café, Roadie Joes, Mojos, and Mogan’s. Libations included wine & beer, desserts included miniature cupcakes and chocolates, and door prizes included oysters and crab meat from the town of Crisfield, a Smith Island cake, and pie from Ugly Pie.
Among the attendees were state and local leaders Dave Wooten, Office of the Comptroller; Chastity Chronister, MD Dept of Public Safety & Correctional Services; John Psota, Wicomico County Executive; John Cannon and Ernie Davis, Wicomico County Council; and James “Bo” McAllister, Clerk of the Circuit Court for Wicomico County.
A 50/50 raffle benefiting the SACC Foundation endowment initiative to provide scholarships for Lower Shore students was won by Ernie Davis, Wicomico County Council. APH also raffled a Pint of Oysters, crab meat, a Smith Island Cake, and pie from Ugly Pie.
