Salisbury, MD — Applications are being accepted for the IgniteWorks business-building program hosted by Salisbury University’s Dave and Patsy Rommel Center for Entrepreneurship.
Early-stage entrepreneurs have until Wednesday, September 24, to apply.
“Our goal is to equip founders with more than just tools; we give them a framework that drives progress,” said Bryan Bourdeau, assistant director of the center. “IgniteWorks is intentionally designed to move entrepreneurs from opportunity to execution through focused mentorship, accountability and a clear roadmap toward traction, funding and long-term growth.”
The program, launching in October, features a six-month incubation and business-building program designed to equip early-stage entrepreneurs with tools, mentorship and structure.
For selected participants, there is no cost for the program. Services are valued at $10,000 and include a private workspace, access to professional services and a structured acceleration curriculum; all resources designed to support founders as they build and grow their ventures.
IgniteWorks focuses on key areas including problem-solution fit, marketing, finance, customer validation, strategy and communication. Along with the nine-module curriculum, the program connects founders to a dynamic cohort of peers and mentors, offering structured roundtable discussions, pitching opportunities and focused mentorship to prepare startups for launch, funding and sustainable growth.
