Salisbury, MD — Aquacare Physical Therapy proudly welcomed members of the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce to its Milford Street clinic on October 9, 2025, for a dynamic Business After Hours event that celebrated community, innovation, and wellness.  It was an evening full of networking opportunities, that showcased Aquacare’s specialized services and longstanding commitment to patient-centered care.
The Business After Hours took place at their original location at 106 Milford Street. Aquacare Physical Therapy is a locally owned, women-owned, and physical-therapist-owned outpatient practice that has served Maryland and Delaware communities for 28 years. Aquacare offers a comprehensive range of therapeutic services including pediatric therapy, sports medicine, dance therapy, lymphedema management, pelvic floor therapy, balance and vestibular rehabilitation, support for stroke and Parkinson’s patients and much more! The company operates two clinics in Salisbury, with additional locations in Easton, Berlin, and eight sites across Delaware.
Guests were warmly welcomed by CEO Cara Konlian and Aquacare’s dedicated staff. Attendees enjoyed guided tours of the facility, complimentary injury screenings, and interactive demonstrations of cutting-edge therapies such as cupping, lymphedema, dry needling, motion guidance laser, vestibular athletics, dance medicine, and aquatic therapy.
“It all began 28 years ago with a leap of faith and a lot of heart,” shared Konlian. “We opened our doors in this location in Salisbury with no idea what we were doing—but the city embraced us. Thanks to that support, we’ve grown to 12 locations stretching from Easton to Sussex County and beyond.”
Konlian also highlighted Aquacare’s unique identity: “We’re proud to be locally owned, independent, and female-led. Our one-on-one care and specialty programs go far beyond aquatic therapy. From pelvic health and pediatric care to college-age and geriatric services, we’re here to meet the diverse needs of our community.”
Guests mingled over light refreshments and beverages, entered to win wellness-themed door prizes—including a cupping therapy set, foot massage roller, resistance bands, lumbar roll, and massage gun—and participated in a spirited 50/50 raffle benefiting the SACC Foundation Wor-Wic Scholarship Fund, which supports educational opportunities for local students.
