Salisbury, MD – The Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce (SACC) and its dedicated members gathered yesterday to celebrate an exciting milestone for Balanced Financial Services (also known as Local Tax Guy) and The AFP Group. With ambassador Corey Boerner and his team leading the event, the official ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the opening of their new offices at 1323 Mount Hermon Rd, Unit 5B in Salisbury, MD.
Corey Boerner welcomed guests with heartfelt gratitude, sharing his journey and how the Chamber played a crucial role in his success. “I have met pretty much everyone here through the Chamber, and it has been the power of face-to-face marketing and networking that has allowed me to grow to where I am today,” Boerner said. He expressed appreciation for his employees, acknowledging that their dedication keeps the business running smoothly. Special recognition was given to Qaadir Williams, owner of The AFP Group, for believing in Boerner and supporting his path to becoming a financial advisor. Boerner also thanked his wife, Gina, for her unwavering support in pursuing this opportunity.
This celebration marks a significant step forward for both businesses and highlights the strength of the local Chamber community. The ribbon cutting was made even more memorable as the sun emerged just in time for attendees to enjoy a delicious taco bar, catered by El Primo Taquerias. Since its founding in May 2021, Balanced Financial Services has provided accounting, consultation, tax preparation, payroll, and CFO services to the community. The AFP Group offers essential services such as insurance management, investment management, employee benefits, and financial planning.
