SALISBURY, MD – September 16, 2021 – BayRunner Shuttle, a locally-owned and operated airport shuttle service announced it has added a new wheelchair accessible shuttle bus to the Western Maryland fleet. The new bus offers comfort for up to 13 passengers and is equipped with an electric wheelchair lift.
“We are excited to see our Western Maryland presence grow,” said Kristen Shockey, BayRunner Shuttle Western MD office manager. “We know it can be difficult for people in wheelchairs to find safe and accessible transportation and are proud to have the opportunity to provide them with a ride in our new shuttle bus.”
The new shuttle brings the Western Maryland fleet up to four vehicles transporting passengers to BWI Marshall Airport, BWI Amtrak and the Baltimore Greyhound Bus Station. The new shuttle bus is scheduled to be on the road Wednesday, September 1, 2021.
