Becker Morgan Group Welcomes Three New Hires

Becker Morgan Group is pleased to announce the growth of its architectural department with the addition of new team members in both its Salisbury, Maryland and Wilmington, North Carolina offices. “We are excited to bring these individuals on board to uphold the exceptional customer service we strive to provide our clients,” said Brad A. Courtney Torbert joins Becker Morgan Group’s Salisbury, Maryland office with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Environmental Design from Morgan State University. She is passionate about architecture and has enjoyed the collaborative culture at Becker Morgan Group since joining the firm. Courtney has played a significant role in the renovation of Somerset Regional Animal Hospital in Princess Anne, Maryland, and has been actively involved in the new Capital School District Interconnected Middle Schools in Dover, Delaware, as well as a Marina office project in the Bahamas.

Megan Kelly joined the firm full time in Salisbury, Maryland, after graduating with a Bachelor of Architecture from Virginia Tech in May. Megan brings prior experience at Becker Morgan Group after having worked as a summer and winter intern in 2018 and 2019. During her time at Virginia Tech, she was an active member of the architectural fraternity, Alpha Rho Chi, where she held numerous leadership positions including, Vice President, Historian, and Chair of the fundraising committee. Since joining the firm, she has been involved in The Ross, a 13 -story apartment building in downtown Salisbury, Maryland.

Leah Stephens, LEED AP, brings over 13 years of design experience to the firm’s Wilmington, North Carolina office. She graduated from Southern Polytechnic State University with a Bachelor of Architecture and is well versed in commercial design. Since joining the firm, she has played a role in the design of Polyhose, Inc’s North American Headquarters.
