Salisbury, MD – TidalHealth is pleased to welcome Katie Jo Berna, DNP, CRNP, a board-certified family nurse practitioner caring for patients at TidalHealth Palliative Medicine in Salisbury.
Berna earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix, where she also completed her Master of Health Administration and Master of Science in Nursing. Dr. Berna went on to receive a Post-Master’s Certificate in Family Nurse Practitioner and her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Wilmington University.
Berna specializes in palliative and hospice care. She is passionate about improving the quality of life for patients with serious or life-limiting illnesses and is committed to delivering patient-centered care through an interdisciplinary approach.
Outside of work, Berna enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, children and English Bulldog.
