Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of the Eastern Shore celebrated the official launch of their new affiliate located in the Greater Salisbury Building, downtown Salisbury. Salisbury Area Chamber members joined BBBS Director, Jessica Mimms, BBBS Board members, friends and mentors for their ribbon cutting on the Downtown Plaza. Big Brothers Big Sisters pairs adult, volunteer mentors with children in our community. They also provide support and resources to high-risk youth. These services not only have a big impact on the young people, but on our community as a whole. Young people that are better equipped to navigate life’s challenges, focus on academics and reach their highest potential make our community stronger.
