WHO: Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Chesapeake, the oldest and largest mentoring organization in the state of Maryland, is a resource on all things mentoring to the communities it serves.
WHAT: Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Chesapeake is hosting, Mentoring 101, an interactive training that will provide participants with an introduction to or review of mentoring. Topics like Building Trust, Exploring Growth Possibilities and Sustaining the Relationship will make it easier to navigate stages of a mentoring relationship with your mentee.

WHEN: Thursday, April 23, from 6-8pm
WHY: To introduce new potential mentor volunteers to the topic of mentoring and provide a refresher for current mentors. You do not have to be or sign up to be a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters. You can be serving in the community as a coach, a teacher or working with another agency as a mentor.
