Salisbury, MD —TidalHealth Primary and Specialty Care is pleased to announce that Rachel Bozman of TidalHealth Pulmonary & Critical Care in Salisbury and Nena Horner of TidalHealth Medical Partners Administration are its 2024 Team Members of the Year.

Rachel Bozman, LPN, TidalHealth Pulmonary & Critical Care in Salisbury

Rachel was nominated by several team members for demonstrating the values of accountability, community, quality and service:

“With the absence of a Practice Manager, Rachel has been the glue holding daily operations together. She has taken on the responsibility of organizing provider schedules, overseeing day-to-day operations with the Medical Assistant and Patient Service Representatives, and even assisting Dr. Conaway’s Ocean Pines team in managing patient concerns and phone calls. On top of that, she plays a key role in interviewing and hiring new staff — all while maintaining her own patient schedule and managing hypertension pulmonary patients.

Rachel’s leadership and commitment have provided much-needed stability for the team. Even with new management in place, she continues to foster a spirit of unity, ensuring a seamless transition and collaboration with leadership as the department continues to grow.

What many may not realize is that over the past year, Rachel put significant personal plans on hold to provide this level of support, always prioritizing the needs of her team and patients. This selflessness has been a defining trait throughout her 49-year career with TidalHealth.

We honor and celebrate Rachel’s incredible dedication — not only to her team and TidalHealth but also to the communities we serve. Her commitment and service are truly inspiring.”

Nena Horner, Physician Onboarding Coordinator, TidalHealth Medical Partners Administration

Nena was nominated by Rachel Bomar for the values of accountability, quality and service:

“Many may not realize the incredible effort she puts into organizing our employee events. From coordinating the Tiki Hut truck to managing meal deliveries for both TidalHealth Week and Medical Partners Spirit Week, Nena handles it all. She keeps the master lists, ensures vendors have everything they need, and dedicates both weeks to keeping orders running smoothly.

What makes this even more impressive is that Nena does all of this in addition to her already demanding role in physician onboarding — a critical job with numerous new providers joining our team.

Through it all, she remains committed to fostering a sense of connection and inclusion across our offices. Thanks to her organization and dedication, we accomplish far more during these events than we ever could without her.

Nena is truly a vital part of our administration team and we celebrate her outstanding contributions. Her impact extends across miles, bringing us together and reinforcing our commitment to being ‘better together’!”

Please join us in congratulating Bozman and Horner on their incredible achievement and recognition. Thank you for being someone we can count on!
