Brent’s career reflects both industry leadership and entrepreneurial vision. As the founder of SVN | Miller Commercial Real Estate, he has built one of the region’s leading firms, completing over 1,000 transactions across more than 37 years and leading the office to consistent top 10 rankings among 220+ offices nationwide within the SVN International Corp. network. He is also the founder of Synergy Investments, an investment platform focused on acquiring and managing commercial real estate assets throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions.
Beyond his professional achievements, Miller is widely recognized for his civic leadership and commitment to the greater Salisbury community. He is actively involved with the Greater Salisbury Committee and the Rotary Club of Wicomico County, where he contributes his time and leadership to initiatives that support economic development and community growth across the region.
Brent’s relationship with Salisbury University spans many years and includes significant support for several campus initiatives. He has been actively engaged with the Salisbury Symphony Orchestra and Sea Gull Athletics and has been a strong supporter of the Franklin P. Perdue School of Business.
Through the Perdue School, Brent and his family established the Brent and Amy Miller Sales Scholarship, helping support students pursuing careers in sales and marketing. In addition, SVN | Miller has remained actively engaged with the Mid-Atlantic Sales and Marketing Institute (MASMI), where the firm, with Brent’s leadership and involvement, regularly serves as a mentor and industry resources to students. Through guest speaking, mentorship, and participation in program initiatives, SVN | Miller helps guide and encourage students as they prepare to enter the business and commercial real estate industries.
In addition, Brent has supported numerous university initiatives, including participation on Salisbury University’s most recent campaign steering committee, involvement with the Salisbury University Foundation Golf Classic fundraiser, and continued support for student-focused programs such as Food for the Flock, the university’s campus food pantry, and the Student Emergency Grant Fund.
With this honorary designation, Brent formally joins the Sea Gull alumni community alongside his wife, SVN | Miller Commercial Real Estate Executive Managing Director, Amy Miller, further strengthening the Miller family’s longstanding connection to Salisbury University.
