SALISBURY – TidalHealth would like to inform patients and visitors of an important upcoming change regarding television access in public areas.
Due to new licensure restrictions imposed by the Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), TidalHealth will no longer be able to show broadcast television programming in these areas, including waiting rooms at all hospitals and health system owned and operated primary and specialty care practices.
TidalHealth encourages visitors to bring with them any electronic devices that can connect, via internet with free TidalHealth Wi-Fi, to outside entertainment sites.
TidalHealth understands that this change may cause some inconvenience, and sincerely appreciates your understanding and cooperation as they comply with these necessary licensing requirements.
