The CRP certification is awarded to insurance professionals who have completed a course of focused training, including contract and policy analysis, as well as exploring property and liability exposures using real-world case studies.
“Earning this certification allows me to bring a deeper, more specialized understanding of construction risks to my clients,” said Nugent. “It helps me be more proactive in identifying exposures up front and more strategic in structuring coverage that aligns with how contractors actually operate day-to-day.”

In addition to Construction, Nugent’s specialties include customizing insurance policies for the Transportation, Hospitality and Community Association sectors. Nugent graduated from Salisbury University in 2017, where she studied Communications and Marketing. She lives in West Ocean City and enjoys bike riding on the boardwalk and helping her clients understand insurance.
