On July 13th, amidst thunderstorms and torrential rain, HealthSouth–Chesapeake Rehabilitation Hospital invited Chamber members to join the for a great Business After Hours. Our host, Greg Hartman, welcomed members and helped us all to understand all of the short term and long term programs they offer to help individuals return to their home or place of residence following an illness or injury. Having recently expanded their bed capacity by 14 rooms they are able to accommodate more in-house treatment requests. Members toured the facility and enjoyed some excellent food which they were surprised to learn was all prepared there on campus. Yes, even the crab-mac & cheese balls! If you missed this one because of the weather, feel free to drop by and meet with Greg anytime for a tour. It is a place we all hope to never need, but it is great to have the information in case we, or someone we know, does. Thank you to Greg Hartman and his wonderful staff for a great evening.
