On May 27 over 100 Chamber members gathered at the Salisbury Zoo for a wonderful evening of networking. The event was hosted by the Delmarva Zoological Society along with the Zoo. The event was sponsored by AWB Engineers and Gillis Gilkerson. Guests were there to celebrate the new Animal Health Building that is close to completion. We had the opportunity to tour this fantastic addition to our zoo. Many were able to see what all the services that this will provide for our animals as well as take note of items and equipment still on their wish list. If you didn’t already know, our zoo is also celebrating 60 years in our community!! Zoo director Ralph Piland thanked everyone for their generous support of the zoo and this building in particular. If you were not able to make it there in the 27th make sure to wander through sometime soon. Something’s always happening at the Zoo!
