Salisbury, MD, June 29, 2015 – This year marks Camp Odyssey’s 25th Anniversary!
Camp Odyssey is an award-winning, fun-filled summer experience with cool activities, new friends and awesome staff! Each week is filled with different activities including art, swimming, sports, dance, wacky science and many more.
It’s not too late to register your child for summer camp.
Legendary Day Camp, hosted by Wicomico Day School runs June 22nd through July 31st. Camp Odyssey Club Camp, with daily golf, tennis and swimming activities hosted by Green Hill Country Club, begins July 27th through August 28th.
“It’s a camp experience, where we inspire children to discover their talents and gain self-confidence,” said Dr. Harlan Eagle, also known as ‘Dr. Z,’ Executive Director of Camp Odyssey, “They make new friends and experiences that can last a lifetime.”
To commemorate 25 years of Camp Odyssey, all former campers, counselors and advisors are invited to celebrate at this year’s Inaugural Queen Nerd Ball, in memory of former Camp Director Jamey Lee Griswold Landon, to be held at Poplar Hill Mansion on July, 18th at 6:30 pm in Salisbury.
There are 25th anniversary Camp Odyssey sweatshirts available to order. The cost is $25 with the proceeds going to the Queen Nerd Scholarship and Support Fund at The Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore. The fund will provide financial support for children dealing with mental and/or physical illnesses and camp scholarships.
