Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce members and the local community gathered on May 29 for a celebratory ribbon-cutting at Cellar House Farm, marking the grand opening of its stunning new event venue on the banks of the Pocomoke River.
Nestled in 20 acres of expansive lawns, Cellar House Farm offers breathtaking water views and a picturesque setting for private gatherings. Guests arriving at the farm travel along a scenic one-mile lane lined with meadows, forests, and agricultural fields before entering the heart of this historic estate.
The venue provides versatile event spaces featuring riverfront views, tranquil ponds, a lagoon, arbor, and gazebos, giving hosts and guests a range of natural backdrops for weddings, reunions, fundraisers, and corporate events.
A Legacy of Land and Design
Owner Robert Graham, a designer and builder by trade, shared insights into the farm’s rich history. Originally acquired by his father in 1964, the estate has grown to encompass 400 acres, ensuring privacy and uninterrupted natural beauty.
“Cellar House is the oldest house in the region. We are excited to start hosting private events, including weddings, corporate retreats, and family reunions,” Graham said. “For now, we’ll be holding events under tents, but we have big plans for the future, including additional infrastructure to enhance guest experiences. As Cellar House Farm embarks on this exciting new chapter, we invite you to spread the word about this exclusive event space.”
During the ribbon cutting, attendees explored the expansive property, learned about the venue’s flexibility for hosting events of various sizes, and enjoyed delicious lite fare provided by The Deli at Pecan Square while taking in the scenic surroundings.
