The need for nonprofit organizations to find proven and reputable sources of grant funding is never-ending, but necessary during all economic climates and cycles. To access grant-makers nationwide, the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore (CFES) is providing a free workshop for local nonprofits to learn about the “Foundation Directory Online,” a searchable database of potential funding opportunities.
The free two-hour workshop from 10 a.m. to 12 noon will be held Thursday, March 2nd at the Community Foundation offices in Salisbury. The Foundation Directory Online is a key research tool is free to nonprofit organizations and provides information on the application criteria for over 140,000 grant-makers nationwide. This CFES workshop will introduce local nonprofits to many databases which usually cannot be found through regular web searches.
Nonprofit organizations in the Lower Eastern Shore of Maryland may register for this free workshop by visiting www.cfes.org. Also available online are a current listing of 2017 nonprofit support events and programs currently scheduled by the Community Foundation.
