Salisbury, Maryland, November 18, 2024 – Chesapeake Health Care is pleased to announce the progress of its latest expansion project, transforming 1340 S. Division Street into a cutting-edge adult medicine facility. Scheduled to open its doors on December 2, 2024, this new location marks a significant milestone in the organization’s commitment to providing accessible and comprehensive healthcare services to the community.
Since January 2024, Chesapeake Health Care has been working to convert the space into a state-of-the-art medical facility tailored to meet the growing healthcare needs of Salisbury and the surrounding areas.
The new location spans an impressive 8,500 square feet and features 16 exam rooms designed to optimize patient comfort and care. Additionally, a walk-in lab will be available onsite, ensuring convenience for patients requiring immediate lab services.
To streamline operations and enhance service delivery, Chesapeake Health Care will consolidate its Sweetbay Adult Medicine and Power Street Adult Medicine into the new South Division Street location. This strategic move allows the organization to expand and optimize patient care offerings. Following the consolidation, the Power Street location will undergo transformation into a dedicated pediatrics office, further bolstering healthcare accessibility in the region.
Sweetbay Adult Medicine will cease operations upon the opening of the South Division Street office, ensuring a smooth transition for patients and staff.
“We’re incredibly excited about this expansion, which allows us to better serve our community with enhanced medical services and facilities,” said Brian Holland, CEO of Chesapeake Health Care.
The hours of operation of this new location will be Mondays from 7am-6pm, and Tuesdays through Fridays, from 7am-5pm. For more information about Chesapeake Health Care’s new adult medicine location, including appointments and services offered, please contact 410-543-2060.
