Chesapeake Health Care is expanding its presence in the community with the opening of a new full-service Delmarva Pharmacy location in Princess Anne.

Salisbury, MD (June 8, 2020) — On June 1, Chesapeake Health Care opened the doors to a new full-service pharmacy located in Princess Anne, Maryland. The stand-alone location has a drive-thru window for contactless prescription pick-up, as well as prescription delivery to those living in the Princess Anne area.

“We are very excited about the opening of this expanded, separate pharmacy building, as it allows us even more ways to better serve our communities,” said Brian Holland, CEO of Chesapeake Health Care. The spacious 4,500 sq. ft. pharmacy is representative of the steady growth and expansion of Chesapeake Health Care during the past 25 years.

Shawn Eisemann, Pharm-D, established Delmarva Pharmacy in Salisbury in 2008 and is currently the Director of Pharmacy for Chesapeake Health Care. “In the pharmacy location in Salisbury, we’re doing way more than just filling prescriptions. We’re greeting people by name and getting to know them and their families. Our whole pharmacy team takes this to heart and focuses on this every day.” said Eisemann. “I’m looking forward to bringing that level of personalized care to those in the Princess Anne community.”

With the addition of this new pharmacy, Chesapeake Health Care now has 13 locations across the Lower Eastern Shore. Chesapeake Health Care has been providing comprehensive health care to individuals in Somerset, Wicomico, and Worcester Counties since 1994. In 2019, CHC provided care to nearly 50,000 patients.

The new Delmarva Pharmacy, which is a division of Chesapeake Health Care, offers home delivery, immunizations, medication therapy management, and multi-dose packaging. The pharmacy is located at 12137 Elm Street in Princess Anne and is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and on Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
