Chesapeake Health Care Welcomes Ashley Hare, LMSW, to its Behavioral Health Team

Chesapeake Health Care is pleased to welcome Ashley Hare, LMSW, to its Behavioral Health team as a Mental Health Therapist. Ashley Hare brings a strong academic foundation, clinical training, and a passion for providing compassionate, person-centered care to individuals and families across the Lower Eastern Shore.

A licensed master social worker, Ashley Hare earned her Master of Social Work from Salisbury University. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and a minor in Psychology from Salisbury University, graduating magna cum laude.

Prior to joining Chesapeake Health Care, Ashley Hare completed social work internships with TidalHealth’s Crisis Center and Patient Care Management departments. In these roles, she provided crisis intervention, conducted assessments, connected patients and families with community resources, collaborated with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, and supported individuals experiencing mental health crises. She also served as a Kindergarten and First Grade Classroom Leader at the Epoch Dream Center, where she fostered social-emotional development and built supportive relationships with children and families.

Throughout her training and professional experience, Ashley Hare has demonstrated a commitment to trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, case management, and advocacy. Her experience working with individuals across the lifespan reflects her dedication to helping clients overcome challenges and achieve positive outcomes. “We are excited to welcome Ashley to our Behavioral Health team,” said Crystal Lambert, Director of Mental Health at Chesapeake Health Care. “Ashley brings a genuine passion for helping others, strong clinical skills, and a person-centered approach that aligns perfectly with our mission.
