Salisbury, Maryland, June 18, 2025 — Chesapeake Health announces the addition of Dr. Alexa Martinelli, DMD, to
our team of pediatric dental specialists. Dr. Martinelli’s expertise and dedication to pediatric oral health further
enhances our commitment to providing comprehensive dental care for patients in our community.
Dr. Martinelli completed her education at prestigious institutions, earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD)
from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and advanced training in Pediatric Dentistry at
Augusta University in Augusta, Georgia. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Rutgers
University.
With a passion for pediatric dentistry, Dr. Martinelli brings a wealth of experience from her role as an Associate
Pediatric Dentist at private practices in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She is skilled in all aspects of pediatric
dentistry, including effective behavior management techniques.
