Salisbury, MD — Chesapeake Health Care is pleased to announce the addition of Niarah H. Russell, CRNM, to its team of healthcare professionals. Ms. Russell joins CHC with a strong background in midwifery and a dedication to women’s health.
Ms. Russell holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing in Baltimore, MD, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Nurse Midwifery from Columbia University School of Nursing in New York, NY. Prior to joining Chesapeake Health Care, Ms. Russell served at NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan, East Harlem, NY, where she provided exceptional inpatient midwifery care, encompassing intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn services.

Lee Jennings, Chief Medical Officer at Chesapeake Health Care, expressed his enthusiasm about Ms. Russell’s arrival, stating, “Midwives are a vital part of our clinical team and at the heart of our patient-centered approach to maternal care.
