Salisbury, Maryland, February 6, 2025 – Chesapeake Health Care is thrilled to announce the newest addition to its Behavioral Healthcare team, Rachel Shelton, LMSW. Rachel brings with her a wealth of experience and dedication as a Mental Health Therapist, enhancing the comprehensive services offered by Chesapeake Health Care.
Rachel earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Salisbury University and has more than 13 years of expertise in the substance use field. Her professional journey includes extensive knowledge in Psychosocial Assessments, Treatment Plans, Crisis Intervention, and conducting both Group and Individual Counseling.
Prior to joining Chesapeake Health Care, Rachel served as Lead Counselor at Warwick Manor Behavioral Health in East New Market, Maryland, where she left a profound impact with her compassionate approach and steadfast commitment to client care.
