Chesapeake Health Care is pleased to welcome Sydney Koteff, LMSW, to its Behavioral Health team. Sydney brings experience in pediatric behavioral health, early childhood mental health consultation, and community outreach.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and completed her Master of Social Work studies at Salisbury University. Her professional training includes school-based trauma and mental health through Simmons University and facilitation training for the Chicago Parent Program, a nationally recognized parent empowerment program.
Prior to joining Chesapeake Health Care, Sydney worked as an Education and Outreach Specialist with One Community, where she attended community events, connected individuals with mental health information and resources, and collaborated with public health agencies to improve access to care and Medicaid enrollment assistance. She also gained extensive clinical experience through internships with the Behavioral Health Integration in Pediatric Primary Care (BHIPP) program and the Lower Shore Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation Program, supporting children, adolescents, families, educators, and caregivers.
“We are excited to welcome Sydney to our Behavioral Health team,” said Crystal Lambert, Director of Mental Health at Chesapeake Health Care.
“Her passion for supporting children, families, and the community aligns with our mission of providing accessible, high-quality healthcare to the residents of Maryland’s Lower Eastern Shore.”
She will be seeing clients at Chesapeake Health Care’s Salisbury location on Healthway Drive. For more information, please call 410-219-1100.
