City Announces ADA and Section 504 Coordinators

Mayor Day wishes to notify the community that the City of Salisbury has selected two city staff members to coordinate the City’s efforts to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.

Nancy Talbott, who also works with the City’s Disability Advisory Committee, has been identified as the City’s new ADA Coordinator. Ms. Talbott’s contact information is as follows:

Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 protects people with disabilities or handicaps from discrimination in programs and activities that receive Federal financial assistance – such as housing, homeless services, community development programs and Fair Housing Assistance programs. As with previous years, Ginny Hussey will remain the City’s Section 504 Coordinator. Ms. Hussey’s contact information is as follows:
