City of Salisbury Opens New Headquarters for Housing & Community Development and Information Services

PRESS RELEASE (83)
Salisbury, MD — The City of Salisbury invites residents and members of the media to attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the opening of the new headquarters for the Housing & Community Development Department and the Information Services Department at 110 W. Church Street in Downtown Salisbury on July 22, 2026. The ceremony will begin at 4 p.m.
Recently acquired from St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, the building has long been part of the downtown landscape and has served the community in various capacities.
To accommodate the ribbon cutting, road closures will include W. Church Street between St. Peter’s Street and N. Division Street from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
“The City Hall Building will add a very attractive location, recapture a little history while offering additional convenience for resident access,” said Mayor Randy Taylor. “This move allows our teams to work more effectively together, respond more efficiently, and continue providing high-quality services to our residents.”
Residents, business owners, community partners, and members of the media are invited to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony, which will include brief remarks, the ribbon-cutting, and open house-style tours following the ceremony.
Parking is available in the nearby parking garage and surrounding on-street spaces.
