Salisbury, MD — Music, dancing, food, and culture are taking over Downtown Salisbury as the Maryland Folk Festival returns for its third year on September 19–21, 2025!
This free, three-day outdoor festival will transform the heart of our City into a vibrant celebration of the roots, richness, and variety of American culture. With 250 of the nation’s finest traditional musicians, dancers, and craftspeople, multiple stages, the Maryland Traditions Folklife Area, family activities, storytelling, the Festival Marketplace, and food courts filled with regional and international flavors, there’s something for everyone to discover.
This year, festival-goers can enjoy their favorite local bars and restaurants with T.A.P.S. (To-Go Alcohol in Public Spaces), making it easier than ever to sip, stroll, and support Salisbury’s incredible downtown businesses while soaking up the festival atmosphere.
To create space for stages, vendors, and guests, several downtown roads will temporarily close. Closures begin as early as Thursday, September 11 and will fully reopen by Thursday, September 25, 2025.
