Salisbury, MD — The City of Salisbury Housing and Community Development Department will host the second annual Youth Business Fair on Saturday, June 6, from noon to 3 p.m. at The Centre at Salisbury. The event is free and part of the City’s continued investment in youth development, economic opportunity, and programs that help build the next generation of local entrepreneurs and small business owners.

Organized by HCDD’s Community Relations Team, the Youth Business Fair allows young entrepreneurs ages 8-18 to showcase their businesses, products, and ideas in a public marketplace setting.

The Youth Business Fair highlights the creativity and innovation of Salisbury’s youth while encouraging entrepreneurship, leadership, and economic growth within the community. Providing early exposure to entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills, the fair offers a hands-on learning experience that extends beyond the classroom.

Participants will engage directly with customers, build confidence, and gain practical experience in the fundamentals of business ownership.

“This is the second year we’ve hosted the Youth Business Fair, and I’m thrilled to bring the event to such a public location,” said Rachel Manning, Community Relations Manager. “I’m especially excited to see all of the incredible young entrepreneurs showcase their ideas. Please come out and support Salisbury’s youth on June 6th.”

“The Youth Business Fair is a great example of how Salisbury continues investing in the future of our community,” said Mayor Taylor. “These young entrepreneurs represent creativity, determination, and innovation, and we’re proud to support them and their ideas!”

The City of Salisbury encourages residents to attend the event, engage with youth vendors, and support local entrepreneurship. Events like the Youth Business Fair strengthen connections between residents, families, and local organizations while creating meaningful opportunities for young people to learn, grow, and succeed.

Additional event details will be shared through the City of Salisbury’s Community Relations social media channels and website.
