City of Salisbury Welcomes Coretta Marshall as Deputy City Clerk

Salisbury, Md. — The City of Salisbury is pleased to welcome Coretta Marshall as its new Deputy City Clerk. Marshall brings extensive experience in administrative management, leadership, records management, and executive-level support to the position.
A native of the Eastern Shore, Marshall brings more than 28 years of professional and military experience to City government. She served with distinction in the United States Army, where her career included assignments at the Pentagon, with NATO, and in Communications Security. During her military career, she developed extensive experience in administrative and human resources management, team leadership, training, and executive administrative support. Following her military service, Marshall continued her professional career to further strengthen her administrative and organizational expertise.
In her role as Deputy City Clerk, Marshall will support the City Clerk’s Office in providing efficient, accurate, and courteous service to residents, City officials, and the community. As part of her responsibilities, she will act as the Records Administrator, prepare ceremonial documents for the council, and manage the invocation schedule.
“I am excited to have Coretta as part of the team. Her experience and abilities will benefit the Clerk’s Office and support the goals of the department,” said City Clerk Julie English.
Marshall is committed to bringing a dependable, solutions-oriented approach to her work and takes pride in providing efficient and professional service. She looks forward to applying her experience to support effective municipal operations and continued community growth.
Outside of work, Marshall enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and completing jigsaw puzzles.
