SALISBURY, MD – February 8, 2021 – The more than 200 staff members of Coastal Hospice presented a check for $10,000 to the United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore. The proceeds were from the organization-wide employee campaign held in late 2020.
“Without the support of the United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore, so many needs – including those of some of our own patients – would go unmet,” said Bob Miller, Senior Director of Coastal Hospice. “We are thrilled that during the heart of the pandemic, our staff came together to generously support the United Way and the dozens of local organizations it serves the same level as the previous year.”
