Community Foundation Celebrates $5.2 Million in Annual Grant Making: Annual Meeting November 3rd

The Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore has announced a total of $5.2 million in charitable grants for the 2017 fiscal year. The money was distributed through more than 1,400 grants across more than 500 organizations to support the Lower Eastern Shore. In addition to grants supporting various community needs and enhancement programs, the distributed money included scholarships for 320 students totaling over $510,000.

The Community Foundation will celebrate annual grant making achievements at the 2017 Annual Meeting and Awards Luncheon on November 3rd at the Fountains Wedding and Conference Center in Salisbury, Maryland. The Foundation will report on its philanthropic activities during the past year, and announce winners of the 2017 Community Foundation awards, as well as highlight philanthropic initiatives that serve the Lower Shore.
