Salisbury, MD — The City of Salisbury is excited to announce upcoming upgrades at Woodcock Park, as part of the City’s continued commitment to improving public spaces and enhancing recreational opportunities for all residents.
The City of Salisbury Field Operations has begun work to make way for new, upgraded playground equipment.
The removal marks the first step in a long-anticipated improvement project designed to better serve children and families in our City. Installation of modern, engaging and inclusive play features will begin right away. The revitalization reflects a shared commitment to enhancing public spaces and investing in the future of our neighborhoods.
“We’re excited to bring new life to Woodcock Park,” said Mayor Randy Taylor. “This updated playground will offer families a safe, vibrant place to play for years to come.”
The City looks forward to seeing families gather, children explore and the park come alive with renewed energy once the improvements are complete. The City appreciates the community’s patience and cooperation during the construction period. Residents will be kept informed through regular updates on the progress of the project via the City’s website, social media channels and community newsletters.
