Patty Shea, Dual Director of Sales, at the Courtyard by Marriott was our gracious host for the SACC’s November Business After Hours networking event.

Patty shared with the group that “this property has 106 rooms and can offer corporate groups agreement if needed.  We also handle a lot of social events and host many families that participate in local baseball and softball tournaments.  Salisbury is booming with social events and has allowed us to get a good base of bookings in the system for 2023.   We also operate the Residence Inn by Marriott, which is a member of the SACC, located just 1.5 miles away and specializes in long term stays with all-suites that have kitchens and a living room.  Both hotels can easily focus on corporate and leisure travel, it all depends on what the guest is looking for.”

The Marriott Courtyard offers 106 sleeping rooms, free Wi-Fi, Courtyard Bistro, hot tub and indoor pool, complimentary parking, fitness room and a meeting room that comfortably accommodates 50 with space for food and bar.  They take great pride in training their staff to take good care of their guests.  As Mr. Marriott would say… “Take care of your associates first and they will in turn take care of your guests.”

Guest enjoyed of a selection of tasty appetizers that included crab balls, mini quiches, meatballs, raviolis, pigs in a blanket, crudité and tomato bruschetta prepared inhouse Chef Gabriel.  Lucky members Corey Boerner, Joe Bean and Robert Fuller won swag items; and Hannah Miller won a complimentary stay at the Courtyard Marriott.   Winner of the 50/50 raffle, which benefits the SACC Foundation and creates scholarships for students at Wor-Wic Community College, was new member Jessica Barry with Thryv.
