The chilly, windy weather on March 16, 2017, didn’t hamper the tremendous turn-out of staff, family, friends, business partners and Chamber members who came to celebrate the official opening of Davis, Bowen and Friedel’s new facility at 601 East Main Street in Salisbury.  After the Ribbon Cutting, guests had to opportunity to tour the space, learn how DBF architects, engineers and surveyors do what they do, and enjoy light fare and drinks. The firm’s President, Mike Wigley, also shared the story of how “DBF”  started as a fledgling, one room consulting firm on Baptist Street, expanded to two floors at One Plaza East, and envisioned a beautiful, state-of-the-art facility where the former Hostess-Bakery outlet once stood vacant. Wigley explained that their firm sought a more collaborative work environment that shared a single floor.  Thanks to the professional guidance of SVN l Miller Commercial Real Estate,  partnering with Silicato Development and Gillis Gilkerson, and utilizing our own design teams’ expertise, our vision is now a reality.”  No doubt, Davis, Bowen and Friedel continues to be a positive presence along the downtown business corridor and is even is now even better prepared to live out it’s motto: Improving communities, shaping the world around us and creating value by design.
