Devreco, a locally owned and operated full service development firm, announced a development deal to move Eduardo Gonzalez, an immigration and criminal attorney named Super Lawyers Rising Star, in Salisbury, Maryland into a new 1,500 square foot office space in the former Hess building at 207 West Main Street, Unit A in the downtown plaza.
“Eddie was in search of a larger office space because his business was growing but wanted to stay downtown,” said Chris Gilkerson, Devreco. “We identified the old Hess building to be the solution. We were able to provide Eddie with all levels of service from permits and approvals to design, engineering and construction and meet his size requirements, time-frame and budget.”
“On any given day I could have six to seven clients in my waiting room, some with their children. And the space is just too tight for that many people to be comfortable,” said Eduardo Gonzalez, Gonzalez Law Firm, LLC. “Chris resolved my need for additional space by identifying a new location still in the heart of downtown Salisbury. Chris is very attentive and continues to give me regular updates on the project. He always offers good ideas and allows me to continue serving my clients without the stress and worry of what is going on with my new office space.”
Hess Apparel, the original building occupant, sold in 1993. The ground floor of the building has not been regularly occupied since Hess Apparel moved out. The space is being converted from a vacant shell to a turn-key professional office suite. Construction has started and is expected to be move-in ready by March, 2016. Eduardo Gonzalez will continue to operate his business at One Plaza East in Salisbury until that time.
