A Diabetes Self-Management Workshop will be offered at MAC Inc., Area Agency on Aging, on Wednesdays, Aug. 16 to Sept. 20, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Participants will learn how to deal with the symptoms of diabetes such as fatigue, pain, high and low blood sugar, stress and emotional issues such as depression, anger fear and frustration. Participants also will learn about exercises to improve strength and endurance, and how healthy eating can help them manage diabetes.
Workshops are free and are open to the public, but registration is required.
