Wor-Wic Community College recently welcomed Marlene Dixon of Delmar, Md., as assistant professor of developmental mathematics.
She holds associate degrees from Eastern Shore Community College in Melfa, Va., and ECPI University in Virginia Beach, a bachelor’s degree from Salisbury University and a master’s degree from Regent University in Virginia Beach. Dixon has been teaching part time at Wor-Wic since 2010 and has also taught at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and online for the University of Phoenix for several years. Prior to that, she taught high school math for 10 years.
