Supporting ALICE®: From Surviving to Thriving

More than 2 in 5 local households are ALICE®—Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed. These hardworking individuals and families live paycheck to paycheck, often forced to make difficult choices between essentials like housing, food, childcare, and healthcare. One unexpected crisis—an injury, a childcare closure, or a car breakdown—can push them into financial turmoil.

ALICE® is everywhere—our workplaces, schools, and neighborhoods. That’s why United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore (UWLES) and our partners are committed to providing the resources and support needed to help ALICE® move from barely surviving to thriving.
ALICE® lives on the edge—so we’re going Over the Edge for ALICE®!

Vendors are needed!!! United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore are looking for family friendly vendors to be a part of this amazing community event.

Fee: $44 per vendor | Non-profit fee: $20
Time: 12-7pm
Date: May 2nd

While your business may not be able to set up a traditional vendor booth, there are still plenty of opportunities to participate. You can offer event-day specials for employees and volunteers, host giveaways, set up sidewalk sales, or even organize post-event programming. The possibilities are endless—it all starts with your creativity and willingness to get involved!
