Salisbury, MD — Downtown Salisbury will celebrate Valentine’s Day on Saturday, Feb. 14, from noon to 3 p.m., with free horse and carriage rides, live music, and a downtown dessert crawl.
Horse-and-carriage rides, provided by R&B Ranch Carriage Service, will begin in front of First Shore Federal. Participants must be in line by 2:45 p.m.; however, arrival by that time does not guarantee a ride.
The dessert crawl features stops at:
- Cake Art
- Two Scoops Ice Cream and Waffles
- Mogan’s Oyster House
- Roadie Joe’s; Bury Tavern
- Mojo’s
- Brick Row Market
Visitors can also vote for their favorite dessert crawl stop through Let’s Rallie for a chance to win a Downtown Salisbury “Sweetheart” prize pack, sponsored by the Downtown Business Alliance.
“Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to enjoy everything downtown has to offer,” said Mayor Randolph J. Taylor. “We hope residents and visitors take this opportunity to explore, shop, and support our local businesses while having fun with family and friends.”
