In the late afternoon of August 19th, Chamber members returned downtown after celebrating this opening of the Wicomico Fair to help kick off 3rd Friday with a ribbon cutting and unveiling of the Downtown Visitors Center! Mayor Jake Day addressed the crowd noting his excitement at the addition of the offices there to welcome visitors and help to promote all things Salisbury. Once the ribbon was cut Laura Kordzikowski, Business Development Specialist and Chris Demone, Public Information Officer unveiled the office itself and the newest Salisbury City logo. Following the formalities the public enjoyed food and beverage in the new offices and were able to purchase logoed items.
