Salisbury, MD – TidalHealth is pleased to welcome Deepak Gupta, MD, DM, MPhil, FACR, to TidalHealth Rheumatology in Salisbury, Maryland.
After completing his undergraduate education in biological sciences, Dr. Gupta earned his medical degree from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India. He completed further research in clinical immunology earning his Doctorate of Medicine from Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute, Lucknow, India and his Master’s in Philosophy from the University of London in the United Kingdom. Dr. Gupta completed a research fellowship at Harvard Medical School, internal medicine residency at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts, a rheumatology fellowship at SUNY, Stony Brook in New York and is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Rheumatology.
With more than 40 years of clinical experience, Dr. Gupta is a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology and member of the Maryland Society for Rheumatic Diseases, Maryland Medical Society, American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin and the Indian Rheumatology Association. His clinical interests focus on many rheumatic disorders, and he has authored numerous clinical publications and presented extensively on rheumatological topics.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Gupta enjoys badminton, cricket, cycling, traveling, hiking, painting and Hindi music.
