SALISBURY, MD—The Edward H. Nabb Research Center for Delmarva History and Culture hosts the exhibit “Eastern Shore Pastime: 100 Years of Baseball” January 27-July 15.
The exhibit, displayed in the First-Floor Lobby of the Patricia R. Guerrieri Academic Commons, features a sampling of images that take viewers on a photographic journey through 100 years of baseball on the Eastern Shore, from the 1876 Salisbury White Clouds to the 1976 Salisbury State College team.
“Eastern Shore Pastime” is part of a larger initiative supported by the National Endowment for the Humanities Common Heritage grant to create a digital archive of Eastern Shore baseball and provide a series of programs exploring the importance of baseball in Delmarva communities.
Admission is free and the public is invited. For more information call 410-543-6312 or visit the Nabb Center website at www.salisbury.edu/nabb.
