This presentation explores the evolving landscape of early talent recruitment and integration, highlighting key trends shaping the future workforce. It covers the shift toward long-term university partnerships, the rise of virtual and hybrid recruiting models, and the growing importance of data-driven strategies and inclusive hiring practices. Attendees will gain insight into Gen Z’s expectations, effective onboarding, talent development strategies, and how to retain + grow early career talent through meaningful engagement and career pathing.
Caroline Phillips was borna and raised on the Eastern Shore. She earned her degree in Political Science with a Pre-Law concentration . After graduation, she moved to Richmond, Virginia to further her education and pursue a master’s degree in public administration with a focus in Nonprofit Management. Currently she leads the Early Talent recruitment and programming for Perdue Foods, Perdue Farms and Perdue Agribusiness. She is responsible for the development of local and national recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources, as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas as it relates to Campus Recruiting.
