Eastern Shore SHRM is excited to announce that Jennifer Williams, Executive Director of Mid Shore Community Mediation Center, will present Strategic Planning: Laying the Foundation for a Successful Process on Tuesday, June 27th. Registration begins at 8 am. The program begins at 8:30 am and will be held at Dove Pointe at 1225 Mt. Hermon Road in Salisbury, MD. There will also be a virtual option for those unable to attend in-person.
In this hour-long workshop participants will learn the essential elements for embarking on the organizational strategic planning process. Workshop topics include how to engage stakeholders early and meaningfully, anticipating and addressing conflict in the process, defining roles and responsibilities for staff and Board members, and how to scaffold the process to enhance efficiency.
Jenn Williams is the Executive Director of Mid Shore Community Mediation Center. Since 2011, Jenn has worked in all aspects of non-profit management, from providing direct service to board membership. She is a restorative practices trainer and certified community mediator. She attended Hood College and Salisbury University, where she completed an M.A. in Conflict Resolution.
