Education Is Everybody’s Business: Public School Superintendents of the Eastern Shore – Implementing the Blueprint for Maryland’s Future

The Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce – Education Committee Network (SACC-EN) and the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore (CFES) are proud to announce Season 2, Episode 2 of Education is Everybody’s Business. 

Host Ladd Colston, Ph.D., CEO of Sustainable-Vision, LLC, sits down with the public school superintendents of the 4 lower counties on Maryland’s eastern shore – David Bromwell of Dorchester County, Dr. John Gaddis of Somerset County, Dr. Micah Stauffer of Wicomico County, and Lewis Taylor of Worcester County – to discuss the challenges and opportunities presented by Maryland’s Blueprint for Success. 

The Blueprint for Maryland’s future is a landmark legislation passed in 2021 which includes comprehensive changes to nearly every aspect of Maryland’s public education system. It will increase annual education funding by over $3.8 billion over the next 10 years, enrich student experiences, accelerate improvements in student outcomes, and improve the quality of Education in Maryland.
