Salisbury, MD — Wicomico Recreation & Parks’ offers opportunities for youth members of the community to play soccer, softball and basketball this fall.
The Wicomico Youth Soccer League (WYSL) is a volunteer coach-led fall league for children ages 2-13 that focuses on skill development, teamwork and fun. Registration fees vary by age division.
Junior Girls Fall Softball is a recreational, team-entry league for girls in the 12 & under (Minor) and 16 & under (Major) divisions. The league teaches softball fundamentals while emphasizing player participation, teamwork and sportsmanship. Team entry is $700 per team.
The WYBL Skills Academy returns this fall, giving young athletes the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of basketball in a fun, non-competitive environment. Session 1 runs Sept. 8-24, followed by Session 2 from Oct. 6-22. The program fee is $60 per participant.
