Approximately 20% of all open state-funded solicitations are designated to the Small Business Reserve (SBR) Program. This race and gender neutral program provides prime contracting opportunities in an exclusive environment for qualifying Certified Small Businesses. Every small, minority, women and veteran business owner that is ready to preform as a prime contactor should join this program. This class covers the program’s eligibility standards, the online certification process, and the pipeline for identifying SBR opportunities.

Do you want to learn how to better manage your business finances? During this class we will share tips on understanding your cash flow, managing who your customers are, and your account receivables, so you can determine how & when customers need to pay you. We will explore building & expanding your business through process automation — such as using mobile payments & customer analytics to understand your market. You will learn more about protecting your business by applying cybersecurity, fraud protection, and business insurance. In addition we will study how to keep your business & personal funds separate, including learning when & how to borrow for your business.
Who should attend? Small, minority, women, and veteran business owners and entrepreneurs who are looking to improve their business financial management to be able to compete with greater confidence.
